Having immigrated from Germany in the early 1950’s Picture of Hildegard Dornbuschshe was captivated by the beauty of autumn in Canada and immediately began gathering fall leaves and looking for ways to preserve the season through art.

Within a year she had developed truly

Canadian craft of hand designed and created lampshades. Her business and craft has flourished through the years, Mrs. Dornbusch retired in 2000 and still resides in Kingston.
